Gregg Mucerino

Head Coach

CCU Baseball Coach Gregg Mucerino joined Colorado Christian University in May of 2015,  becoming the fourth leader in the program's ten-year history. During his three years at the helm of the baseball program his record is 61-130. The Cougars 2018 season  was the programs most successful year, going 20-27, and included the teams first sweep ever of an RMAC opponent, when they swept Adams State at home in Lakewood.
 
Mucerino came to CCU from Calvary Christian Academy in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he served seven seasons as Head Coach of the Eagles. In 2015, Mucerino led his team to a 23-7 mark, reaching the regional finals of the 4A state playoffs. In May of that year he was named Broward County Baseball Coach of the Year.

In addition to his tenure as a successful  coach at the high school level, Coach Mucerino boasts experience at the college and professional levels as well. He was an assistant at The Citadel and College of Charleston, as well as the Head Coach at Loyola University. Mucerino also spent three seasons in hitting coach and manager roles for the South Coast and Frontier Leagues. His work in the dugout has yielded five current Major League players.
